Annual report under the Digital Services Act (DSA)

1. Introduction

This transparency report has been prepared in accordance with Article 15 of the Digital Services Act (DSA / Regulation (EU) 2022/2065). VerbouwPro publishes this report annually to provide insight into our content moderation activities. VerbouwPro is an online intermediary platform that connects clients with tradespeople in the Netherlands.

2. Content moderation

VerbouwPro applies an active moderation policy to all content on the platform: Reports by users Users can report profiles, jobs and messages using the report form on the platform. Every report is reviewed by our team. Report categories: • Spam: unwanted or repeated messages • Fraud: misleading information or scams • Inappropriate: inappropriate or offensive content • Illegal: illegal activities or content • Harassment: threatening or intimidating behaviour • Other: other breaches of our terms Handling Reports are reviewed and given one of the following statuses: • Pending: the report is being investigated • Resolved: action taken (content removed, account suspended, etc.) • Rejected: the report was found to be unfounded

3. Automated detection

VerbouwPro does not currently use automated content moderation tools. All reports are reviewed manually by our team. We periodically assess whether automated detection is desirable and proportionate for the size of our platform.

4. Complaints and appeals

Users whose content has been removed or whose account has been restricted are entitled to: • A statement of reasons for the decision • The option to object through our internal complaint-handling system • Out-of-court dispute settlement through a certified body • Court proceedings before the competent court See our complaints procedure for more information.

5. Orders from authorities

VerbouwPro processes orders from judicial and administrative authorities in accordance with the DSA. We received no orders during the reporting period. If we receive orders, they will be processed within the statutory deadlines and the outcome will be included in the next transparency report.

6. Monthly active users

In accordance with Article 24(2) DSA, VerbouwPro publishes the number of monthly active users. This number is updated at least once every six months. The current number is calculated on the basis of unique signed-in users per calendar month.
